Salamander

Belgian TV drama series set in Brussels. When the contents of 66 safe deposit boxes are stolen from a private bank, police inspector Paul Gerardi (Filip Peeters) investigates.

The owners of the stolen goods, who are all powerful figures in Brussels and keen to cover up the robbery, turn out to be members of a secret group known as Salamander.

As Gerardi discovers that the deposit boxes contained information dating back to the Second World War which could potentially destroy the country, he realises both the thieves and the authorities pose a threat.

Can he solve the case in time to prevent a disaster?
