Fred, Daphne, Thelma, Shaggy and Scooby are hot on the trail of the Phantom Virus when they find themselves transported into a computer game based on their own ghoul-chasing adventures.

The only way out is to negotiate each of the game's ten action-packed levels, so that's exactly what they do, travelling all the way from the ancient past to the far-flung future in a madcap effort to regain their freedom.
