After a disastrous accident on Teeside, questions begin to arise about the safety procedures in place by the company involved.

Dawkins then commits himself to finding answers to these questions and is forced along the way to tackle many beaurocratic obstacles and damaging revelations about his personal life as well.

Struggling to keep his party and electorate behind him, Dawkins becomes aware that there are bigger powers at work that would like to stop him in his pursuit of justice.
