Skellig

Made-for-TV children's fantasy based on the novel by David Almond.

Tim Roth stars in the title role as the part-owl, part-angel Skellig, who is discovered in a ramshackle shed by a lonely young boy, Michael (Bill Milner).

Michael nourishes the strange creature back to health while his own baby sister is gravely ill in hospital.

Kelly Macdonald and John Simm co-star as Michael's parents.
