Sorry to Bother You

A genre-bending satirical comedy directed by Boots Riley.

Cassius Green (Lakeith Stanfield) is unemployed and living in his uncle's garage with his girlfriend Detroit (Tessa Thompson).

When Cassius manages to get a job in telemarketing he struggles to get many sales until his older colleague Langston (Danny Glover) advises him to adopt a 'white voice'.

Taking heed of this advice Cassius begins to improve his sales and finds himself moving upstairs to the coveted role of power-caller.

Cassius' rise through the ranks comes at a time when Detroit is protesting against corporate greed and his colleagues are attempting to improve their poor working conditions.

Cassius must then question the merits of gaining greater personal wealth at the expense of others.
