Spotlight On a Murderer

French drama co-written and directed by Georges Franju.

After discovering he doesn't have long to live, French count Hervé de Kerloguen (Pierre Brasseur) decides to hide in a secret room in his castle.

Knowing that his heirs will have to wait five years to receive their inheritance if his body is not found, he decides to remain in his secret alcove until his death as a way of playing one last trick on them.

Desperate to claim their money, the count's nieces and nephews begin searching the castle for the body, only to be killed themselves following a series of mysterious accidents.

The cast also includes Dany Saval, Marianne Koch and Jean-Louis Trintignant.
