St Agatha

Psychological horror directed by Darren Lynn Bousman.

Young woman Mary (Sabrina Kern) is pregnant and unmarried which is frowned upon in small town Georgia during the 1950s.

With nowhere else to go she finds refuge in a convent run by nuns.

However, the shelter does not provide the security she requires and Mary becomes suspicious about the true intent of the nuns who run the place, especially the rather stern and sadistic Mother Superior (Carolyn Hennesy).

When Mary attempts to garner support from the other young women she realises they are too afraid to speak out against their keepers and as she uncovers more sinister secrets about the convent she fears she may never manage to escape.
