Streets of Laredo

Television miniseries based on the western novel by Larry McMurtry.

Woodrow Call (James Garner) is a former US Ranger who has set himself up as a bounty hunter and is hired by a nervous rail baron to track down Joey Garza (Alexis Cruz), a ruthless young killer who murders his victims from a distance using a sniper rifle.

Woodrow teams up with his old partner, 'Pea Eye' Parker (Sam Shepard), and together the two men head towards Mexico to apprehend the killer.

But Woodrow knows that this mission will bring him into contact with his past, in the form of Maria Garza (Sonia Braga), Joey's mother.
