The Subjects

Low-budget Australian sci-fi thriller. The film follows eight strangers who agree to undergo an experiment for pharmaceutical company SunSkye.

After being offered a large sum of cash, the participants are locked in an observation room where they each take a revolutionary new drug in the first stage of human testing.

The pills begin to affect each participant differently but they all have one thing in common - they are each developing superpowers.

Unaware of how to control their new abilities, some subjects begin to get out of control as the others try to learn to harness their new powers and find a way to escape their captivity.
