An irreverent comedy updating of the Ten Commandments.

American comedian Paul Rudd attempts to introduce a series of short films, each one based on one of the ten commandments, while being constantly interrupted by his many and varied girlfriends.

The stories include a woman, Kelly La Fonda (Winona Ryder), who falls in love with a ventriloquist's dummy; a chaste librarian (Gretchen Mol) who has a steamy affair in Mexico; and a surgeon (Ken Marino) who likes to leave objects in his patient's bodies.
