The right start : work experience for young people

This leaflet is aimed at employers and organizations who offer work experience to young people.

It outlines the legal duties when assessing the risks to young people in the workforce who are less than 18 years old; what a risk assessment should involve and what employers need to do as a result of it; what to do about training and supervision; and questions that may be asked when organizations offer work experience.
