Shane Meadows writes and directs this four-part Channel 4 drama revisiting the characters from his 2007 film 'This Is England'.

Thomas Turgoose reprises his role as Shaun, a school-leaver with little prospect in mid-1980s England who, along with his group of friends, is coming to terms with his impending adulthood in an unstable social climate of 3.4 million unemployed, strikes, race riots and anti-nuclear protests.
