Patrick Smash (Bruce Cook) is a young boy who suffers with extreme flatulence.

Patrick's condition has often ostracised him from his peers, but his best friend Alan (Rupert Grint), who suffers with anosmia, is extremely clever and creates Patrick a pair of strong trousers to contain his gaseous emissions.

When Alan's skills are required by the US government for a space mission, Patrick seizes the opportunity to use his ability for good.
