Found footage horror anthology comprised of short films from a variety of directors bound together by a framing narrative in which a couple of private investigators are trying to track down a missing student and find a collection of videotapes in his apartment.

The directors to contribute the terrifying films on the VHS tapes are Jason Eisener, Gareth Evans, Gregg Hale, Eduardo Sanchez, Timo Tjahjanto and Adam Wingard with Simon Barrett directing the sequences that follow the effects of the videos on the couple who view them.
