Late 1940s crime thriller starring Rosalind Russell and Sydney Greenstreet.

Broadway actress Valerie Stanton (Russell) and her lover, producer Gordon Dunning (Leon Ames), make a winning combination with a number of successful shows to their name.

When Valerie moves on in both a professional and personal sense, the two have an argument which ends in murder.
