Videodrome

Sci-fi horror written and directed by David Cronenberg.

Looking for new thrills, cable TV programmer Max Renn (James Woods) stumbles upon an S&M satellite channel called 'Videodrome', which seems to depict real people being killed and tortured.

His girlfriend Nicki (Deborah Harry) is somehow involved in the station and, as Max becomes more addicted to the violence it depicts on the screen, the boundary between real life and television disappears amidst a host of increasingly bizarre hallucinations and body transformations.
