Following the atomic war of 2150, a large proportion of the survivers were warped by Strontium 90 fallout. Their mutated offspring, defeated in a war against the the ';norms', were forced to live as second class citizens in poverty-stricken ghettos. The only job available to them was bounty hunting. One such Search/Destroy agent is Johnny Alpha, who has the power to emit piercing Alpha rays from his eyes which enable him to see through solid objects and into the minds of men.

Armed with the latest hi-tech weaponry and a burning hatred for the father who abandoned him, Johnny has a score to settle and nobody will get in his way...
