War Flowers

Christina Ricci stars in this American Civil War tale of a mother trying to protect herself and her young daughter from the turmoil and bloodshed raging around them.

After her husband goes off to fight for the South in the Civil War, Sarabeth Ellis (Ricci) and her daughter Melody (Gabrielle Popa) find themselves alone and desperate as the war closes in on all sides.

Whilst clinging to the hope that her husband will one day return, Sarabeth and Melody's lives are soon put under threat when a Yankee soldier turns up on their doorstep in desperate need of help.
