Aphasia : a social approach

The work aims to provide a thorough understanding of aphasia as a disability.

It does so by both reviewing the literature on these subjects and drawing on original material from clinical experience and from interviews with sufferers and with service providers.

This book aims to draw together the experience of aphasia with an analysis of the services on offer and how they are affected by changes in social policy.This book should be of interest to speech & language therapists; health managers; disability counsellors; and rehabilitation specialists.
