These documents, jointly sponsored by the IAEA and ILO, provide the user with a comprehensive set of safety standards on occupational radiation protection.

The three interrelated Safety Guides reflect the current internationally accepted principles and recommended practices in occupational radiation protection and provide guidance on meeting the requirements laid down in Safety Series No. 115. The Safety Fundamentals publication, Safety Series No. 120, states basic objectives, concepts and principles of occupational radiation protection.
