Lift-the-flap colours

Pre-school learners can practise their reading and colour-recognition skills with this enormously entertaining lift-the-flap book.

In Colours, the reader is asked to answer the questions about colours around the edges of the pages and then lift the flaps to see if they got the answers correct. The book introduces each basic colour by turn and then brings them together in a 'rainbow' spread that shows how colours can be mixed and used together.

The design and interactivity of the book is such fun that young children won't even realise they're actually learning!The book was designed in consultation with Jo Payne, a British primary teacher, blogger, published author on teaching and expert in children's education.
