CD1) Crystal Bowl MeditationCrystal bowls are made of quartz crystals.

Quartz crystals have physical properties that cause them to amplify, transform, and transfer energy.

This unique property makes them perfect for use in microphones, radio and television equipment, clocks, and computers.

When formed into specifically shaped bowls they emit an angelic and exquisite tone. Life in Balance, a performance duo, have been leading healing and meditation workshops using an ensemble of crystal bowls for over ten years.

For Crystal Bowl Meditation they combine these hauntingly beautiful and healing sounds with Shakukhachi flute, and synthesizers to take listeners on an irresistible journey to meditative inner peace. 2) Tibetan Bowl MeditationAfter enjoying a successful career as a freelance percussionist in New York City, River Guerguerian felt a strong urge to fulfill a different aspect of his humanity.

In 1993 he sold everything and for 5 years traveled the world with a backpack, a frame drum, a gong, a flute, and nine Tibetan Singing Bowls - in instrument used since the time of Buddha to insude states of transformation and meditation.

River developed his own vibrational therapy techniques by studying with sound healers from around the globe and then using his singing bowls to work with hundreds of people, guiding them to states of mind-body healing and deep meditation.

On Tibetan Bowl Meditation, River shares his healing expertise and musical sensitivity with us by combing the healing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls with bass, strings, and percussion.

This is the perfect meditation tool, combining years of experience with the power of these ancient instruments.
