Angelheaded Hipster: The Songs of Marc Bolan & T. Rex

American documentary from film-maker Ethan Silverman which explores the career of musician Marc Bolan.

Forming T-Rex in the late 1960s, Bolan pioneered the glam rock movement which gained momentum in the 1970s and inspired musicians across various genres.

T-Rex's number one single 'Get It On' was certified platinum in the UK and topped the charts for four weeks, while the tracks 'Children of the Revolution' and '20th Century Boy' also helped to propel the band's success.

The film chronicles Bolan's journey to fame with highlights and footage from throughout his career until his untimely death at the age of 29.
