Bing, the world famous German toy company, began producing tin toys in the early 1880s, and between 1895 and 1914 developed into the largest tin toy producer in the world.

The catalogues they produced were issued for trade use, and so were of a very high quality, both to stimulate sales and so that they could withstand the rigours of the road in salesmen's bags.

They are therefore the best available guide to what the manufacturers intended to issue for the year of the catalogue.

This third volume in a series of catalogue reproductions sees the company at its height, and covers not only all the products available in the UK but also variations produced for the French market.

In addition, there are four pages of colour illustrating items in the catalogue and a very rare colour catalogue of plush toys.
