Science Matters Year 10

Science Matters 10 is the second of a two-book series for middle school science students which has been developed for science curriculums around Australia. While the book directly relates to the content and requirements of the various state and national curriculums, its real strength lies in its use of international case studies and illustrations which broaden students' experience of science and its applications. In this way the book is unique. The book is divided into four units covering: Materials - an exploration of the chemistry of materials and their behaviour in the natural and industrial world around us.

Physical world - a study of physical systems on earth and in space.

Earth and beyond - examining earth science and astronomy and conditions on earth and other planets.

Life and living - the nature of life and living things and their role in our world.
