Written to cover the engineering drawing material in the BTEC unit, Engineering Fundamentals, this book aims to present the basic principles of the engineer's language without unnecessary elaboration.

The text is supplemented by numerous examples, some of which are laid out in step-by-step form.

Many exercises are provided, but it is not intended that all of them should be worked out by every student, Rather, it is hoped that there are sufficient to give variety in assignments for a class and to enable the lecturer to set phase tests when necessary.
