Set around 200 BC, Grey Falcon plots the lives of a merchant ship's crew.

On arriving in a strange port, Captain Ash and his team get unwittingly caught up in ongoing schemes and devious dealings, becoming the focus of two unscrupulous men.

To one of them, Obesar, their ship becomes a desirable object to add to his growing fleet, and he bends all his influence over the port to legally steal it away from them.

To the other, Scrubbs, the fortuitous arrival of the Grey Falcon enables him to manipulate the situation and force the captain into taking a cargo of arms to rebels in a far land.

To save their ship, home and lifeblood, the captain must escape from the port.

He opts to carry the cargo, but this takes them further from their home port and deeper into harm's way.

The crew are simple mariners, and as they move from scene to scene, meeting new people and situations all the time, their characters are changing, evolving and enabling them to stand up to new challenges, but their goal is always to return home.

Grey Falcon, which is the first book in the Navigator series, is a work of fantasy adventure fiction that has been inspired by Charles Dickens, J.

R. R. Tolkien and Kenneth Grahame.
