AROUND THE YEAR will provide practical activities to support the Early Learning Goals.

The books will provide a collection of ideas to use through out the year based on both seasonal opportunities and dates linked to festivals.

Supporting photocopiables will include activity sheets and new poems, stories and songs.

The books will be suitable for practitioners working with 3-5 year olds KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORLD will provide practical activities, to support the Early Learning Goals, with a collection of ideas to use throughout the year based on both seasonal opportunities and dates linked to specific multicultural festivals.

Ideas include finding out about past events in their own lives (Father's Day activity), using technology to support their learning (Advent calendars), finding out about and indentifying some features of the living and the natural world (Mad March Hares activity) as well as a range of ideas covering many well-known and lesser-known festivals.
