The 1950's was the single greatest decade that I have ever lived in and I have lived in seven. The 50's have been called the 'Happy Days' and for many good reasons. If you saw the movie 'American Graffiti' and the television series 'Happy Days', you know why.
Hot rods and custom cars, drive-in theatres, drive thru fast food restaurants, juke joints and malt shops, sock hops, roller skating rinks and bowling alleys were just a few of the cool places to go. Seems like that good old time Rock n' Roll music could be heard almost everywhere.
If you happened to be a male teenager in the late fifties, even high school was a great place to be. Monday thru Friday, the halls and classrooms were filled with great looking chicks. High school was a great place to get dates for Friday and Saturday nights.
