Bridget Arregger's short stories and poems mostly stem from personal experience, from taking risks with online dating (Dust, J.E.E. and Parallel Magnolias), wishing she was brave enough to climb the mast (Climbing the Mast) and having a hysterectomy in Trinidad (I Left My Womb in Chaguaramus), to reflecting on approaching the end of life and choosing what to do with a gift of three wishes (Autumn Wishes).

Other of Bridget's fascinating stories include Criss-Cross, Eve Bites First and Tripos where there are eighteen possible different genders.

Bridget is an experienced writer with three educational books in print in her previous name as Bridget Adams.

A number of her short stories and poems have been winners in competitions, published in local magazines or read on local radio.

Her favourite genre is speculative fiction that includes sci-fi, fantasy and dreams.
