Passports to Literacy Words 4

Passports to Literacy offers comprehensive teacher support materials to ensure coherent grammar provision for children in Years 3 6/Primary 4 7 (ages 7 11).

Activities are linked to the Cambridge Reading children's books at Word Sentence and Text level.

Passports to Literacy: Words 4 gives children in Year 6/Primary 7 practice in spelling, word building and understanding word meaning through a series of photocopiable games.

The book includes clear reference sections for teachers and child-friendly instructions for the games.

An investigative approach, in line with DfES Spelling Bank, is used throughout.

The four book approach to spelling provides coverage of all the spelling related word level objectives in Key Stage 2/Primary 4 7 and promotes an overall understanding of language patterns.

Words 1 4 can be used independently as part of the broader English curriculum.
