Earth and the Universe

What are the highest and deepest places on earth? What causes earthquakes? How thick is the atmosphere? What is the largest planet in the solar system? This book addresses the questions that children are likely to ask about our own planet and the universe of which it is a part.

This book contains marvelously detailed illustrations by specialist artists that show everything from the inside of the earth to the furthest regions of the universe; two spreads have been designed with an acetate overlay to show how different creatures live together - or prey on one another; and, a 'true or false' quiz runs through the book, with answers given at the end, to make it truly interactive.
