This is a resource for teaching and learning about the issues and events that characterize Tudor, Stuart and early-18th-century Britain.

This pack features photocopiable activities including an opportunity for pupils to "fight" the Armada battle, an investigation on the use of propaganda in portraits (across this and other periods), and an examination of whether Cromwell's tactics at Drogheda were a result of military necessity or blood lust.

The foundation sheets are designed to reinforce the issues and topics taught in lessons, and build towards activities that also extend lower ability pupils' knowledge and understanding.
