The book's title had come to me slowly over the years.
It was about theCharismatic Renewal & the changes that had come to my life as well as others.
I was open to bea Guest Teacher at not only Catholic Churches & assist them in forming their ownPrayer Group after ours at Holy Spirit had grown so large.
I admit I was nervous & my prayer was always the same when I had to teach or give a talk. I said a very silentprayer but always ended the same way..."Lord, you got me here so let it be your Words & not mine." The Lord never failed to answer. I made friends with people of all denominations & heard from them over the years.
I had always been referred to as the Catholic Teacher,,,,later was changed to being a Welcome Guest & a Teacher toall People! My Prayers were answered & the Lord in His way granted me a Miracle! My son, after getting married & moving 2 doors away, finally went thru the Trash Bags he had rescued & stored. Inside were my 2 work-books from which I wrote my Manuscripts. At that time I had become very ill only to be put in Hospice. Each time I became"stable" even though I was Terminally Ill. I prayed the Book would someday be published while I was still here to see it. For the hours I was out of bed there was nothing to keep me occupied that I could manage.
My daughter got me a Computer. I was not trained & knew nothing about computers. I learned E-Mail & to play games on POGO on the machine.
All this was agift from my wonderful daugther who married & moved far away.
These things came as a gift from her. She kept up on all expenses as my Medical bills take a large toll. On the chat section of Pogo I made many friends.
I shared with them about my book that would never be Published. A Baptist family volunteered to use the work-books & make Manuscripts for me. They were beautiful & I was so thankful. All theywould accept were 2 copies of the Manuscripts for their own personal use.
Each night they had, as a family, a nightly Bible Session.
Their opinion was that it was "OfThe Lord" & they are Spirit filled Baptists....Christians whose lives were touched by the Holy Spirit. Soon many on the Web Site were requesting to buy the book,,,,,ofall denominations! Many wrote me or called. They couldn't understand at 1st how I could be so much at Peace with all I had been thru & knowing my time here is limited.
I knew it was ananswer to my Prayer to see the book published before my time was up.
I wanted allwho were sick or troubled or felt lost to find the same peace I have & have seen in so many others.
In Philly I met a family who brought their Mother in for Prayers.
Her name was "Lucy". I laid hands & prayed for her & we spent time talking..
While away on vacation up here I received a letter asking me to see Lucy when I returned.
She had cancer at the time I prayed with her & was very depressed & afraid. I went to see her & she wanted us to be alone. We prayed together & talked. She opened her mind & heart to me. She had found peace within & was no longer afraid to die.
Her problem was that she hasd so much to speak about to her family. No one would listen...they kept up her hopes of surviving & kept telling her so.
Theydidn't want to talk about her acceptance & the things she felt she wanted to say to each of them before her time came.
We talked as long as we could & she said she was once more at peace but needed the courage to tell her family to ACCEPT it & to be able to say to them all she wanted to & they hadn't let her.
I told her I would pray for them & not to think of their on-coming loss but to let Lucy have the freedom to be honest about how she felt & wantedto be treated.
She didn't want to waste the time she had left. She was stronger when I left & I saw her at peace but with a new strength,,,,to insist the family consider her feelings & listen to all the last words she had for each of them.
Lucy passed away,,,in Peace. She would now be with the Lordwhere ther
