This CD-Rom combines specially selected clips from Channel 4's most successful geography programmes with text, graphics, image galleries and glossaries for whole-class teaching, group work or individual study.

The two lesson ideas featured on this CD-Rom are: The Changing River: From source to sea - the basic river geography, and The Three Gorges Dam: A water management scheme in China - explores the issues surrounding the building of this dam.This CD-Rom offers an integrated package and can be used with individuals and groups, reducing preparation time; 30-40 minutes of full-screen video clips of broadcast quality on each CD-Rom; a gallery of 100 images, which can be copied and pasted into students' presentations; the CD-Roms employ techniques such as animated graphics; wordbank - a glossary of terms in the clips and the text; lesson ideas and work sheets which are integrated into the CD-Roms and are printable, making lesson preparation quick and easy; differentiated student task sheets.
