Altruism

This is an introduction to the subject of altruism as it's considered in the social sciences and the humanities.

The authors argue that altruism lies at the heart of key debates in sociology, ethics, genetics, religious studies, social psychology, economics and politics and one aim of the book is to reconnect the idea of altruism to these subject areas.
