Everyone knows the famous book titled, "What to Expect When You're Expecting," but what happens after the joyous events of pregnancy and childbirth?

Designed as a journal depicting several hilarious moments that occurred as Janell and her husband were raising their two sons, Jacob and Joey, Janell also shares with readers what lessons she learned through the outcomes of these events and to be prepared for the unexpected. One event, for example, was a Christian retreat the family took to enjoy the sights and sounds of the outdoors, as well as grow closer to God.

However, the simplicity of nature was soon interrupted when the youngest, Joey, found himself wedged in a swing.

Though he was freed, it was a moment to laugh about later as a family. Or how about the first trip to Disneyland with a two-year-old and four-year-old?

Needless to say, shoes were lost, patience levels were tested, and someone had a meltdown over ice cream after a long hot day.
