The Federal Facilities Council of the NRC has sponsored a number of studies looking at ways to meet these challenges.

The book presents a discussion of the current context of facilities management; an analysis of the forces affecting federal facilities asset management; an assessment of core competencies for federal facilities management; a comprehensive strategy for workforce development; and recommendations for implementing that strategy.
