A Little Ramble Around the 630-Mile South West Coast Path

A month before her eighty-fourth birthday Joy Gower completed the final section of the South West Coast Path - a total distance of 630 miles.

She has written this account of her epic walk in the hope that it will inspire others to walk this spectacular coastal path. "Believe you can and you are halfway there - but I warn you it will become addictive," she says.

Joy hopes also to raise awareness of the charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).

Every week in the UK at least twelve apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions.

That means over 600 young lives lost every year. The proceeds of this book are being donated to CRY in memory of Joy's much-loved eldest son, Richard, who died long before his time.
