The Movie Moon is a collection of award-winning stories set in the American South during the last half of the 20th Century.

The scenarios range from the tobacco fields of Middle Tennessee, to the grim interior of an Alabama prison, to the Louisiana bayous.

The characters are heroes and villains and ordinary people caught in extraordinary circumstances.

In the end, the one recurring character is the South, herselfthat blessed plot, that complex, diverse, and justifiably proud region.
