Research can often seem overwhelming. Where should you start? What sources are trustworthy? How do you know if you have enough information? What is plagiarism, and how can you avoid it? 'Information Literacy Skills' helps students get comfortable with the research process, providing helpful hints for organizing, taking notes, and presenting information.

Special emphasis is placed on helping students consider, evaluate, and properly use the Internet and other electronic sources.

In 'Understanding the Importance of Information' you will learn about laws our country has to protect your right to information, your responsibilities in presenting information, important examples of information rights, and limits others have placed on their right to information.
