About Alzheimer's

It was early in the year 2007 that Stan started working on a slide/picture presentation that would tell the story of Alzheimer's. The purpose of the initial and the present versions of the presentation was and is to tell the story of Alzheimer's in a way that would inform and educate the reader/viewer in five (5) basic areas of information as follows:

1. Show the origin and history of Alzheimer's as a disease

2. Inform the viewer as to the usual symptoms and the basic stages that the disease would progress through to an eventual termination

3. Show data on the prevalence, size, and dimension of the Alzheimer's disease problem to the society in the United States

4. Identify and picture well-known celebrities or public figures who have been or are victims of Alzheimer's disease, thus putting a face on the disease.

5. Outline areas that individuals may assist in bringing about public awareness of Alzheimer's as well as promoting funding and research to find a cure

About Alzheimer's presentation/story consists of a total of eighty-seven pictures/illustrations. As of December 2021, over forty-two thousand persons have viewed the online version and pictorial story of Alzheimer's The story includes June's (Stans wife) story who is now in heaven and who died a victim of Alzheimer's. Stan, who is now ninety-four years of age, also thanks his Christian God for his help with this story of Alzheimer's.
