Thomas Richard Blanchard (born May 28, 1948 in Grants Pass, Oregon) is a former American football punter with a 11-year career in the National Football League for the New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He played college football at the University of Oregon, where he was quarterback as well as punter. And now is the sports director at Grants Pass High School.

American football is a sport played between two teams of eleven with the objective of scoring points by advancing the ball into the opposing team's end zone.

Known in the United States simply as football, it may also be referred to informally as gridiron football.
