A Rebel's Eye

Broken in battle, a Confederate soldier has nothing left in his gut but burning revenge.

At war's end, he treks northward with the goal of delivering like vengeance on the wife of a union officer he'd killed in battle.

Along the way, the defeated soldier finds perspective in a good luck charm that oversees his quest and brings him to an instantaneous but critical epiphany.
