Places for Worship - Resource Pack

Covering Christianity, Judaism and Islam, this pack introduces the concepts and experiences of worship, and is suitable for any RE syllabus.

There is a special focus on the Christian baptismal ceremony, Jewish Shabbat, and Muslim worship at home. The pack consists of a teacher's booklet, including 18 photocopiable activity sheets, and a set of 14 colour cards.

It aims to help to increase pupils' awareness of the importance of religion in people's lives, and to encourage them to think about their own experience, beliefs and values. A video pack is also available, comprising these materials and a video of the three television programmes on which the pack is based.
