A Corner of Magic

Suitable for children in Year 2 (age 6), A Corner of Magic is one of nine anthologies from the Cambridge Reading Poetry strand, compiled by Richard Brown and Kate Ruttle.

A Corner of Magic, illustrated by Francesca Pelizzoli, features poems that tell a story: some are humorous, some mysterious, some recounting strange adventures or fantastical events.

Well-known poems, such as The Owl and the Pussycat are included along with more unusual and unfamiliar choices.
