The information is organized into three parts covering specific health hazards in the built environment, a guide to the selection of products and materials and individual computer-generated data sheets on UK building materials detailing their uses and possible toxicity.

The latter includes information on where the product is used, its compositions and an analysis of the inherent hazards to the workers and the environment.
