Lizzie Dripping's two best friends are old and wrinkly, and like knitting.

One is her Gramma, and the other the witch who lives in the graveyard.

When the witch is upset she likes to turn people into toads (like the Brigg's cat).

Now the Best Kept Village competion is on, Lizzie starts to worry that the toad population might go up when Aunt Blodwin decides to tidy up the graveyard!
