The "Caribbean Language Arts Project" has been devised, piloted and thoroughly tested in primary schools by the Curriculum and Materials Development Unit of the St Lucia Ministry of Education.

The course takes the child through the three distinct, but interrelated, elements of language learning: oral communication (listening and speaking), reading and writing.
