Old Airfield Walks : in Lincolnshire

Over 60 years after the end of the Second World War, Lincolnshire is still often referred to as the 'Bomber County', by virtue of the number of Bomber Command airfields once situated within its boundaries.

The addition of Fighter Command, Coastal Command and United States Army Air Force bases made for a total of around fifty active airfields.

This book comprises 20 circular walks centred on the remains of Lincolnshire's Second World War military airfields.

Ranging from roughly 4 miles to 11 miles in length, the walks include additional features of interest and are supported by details of airfield history.
